Free Throw Offense

Free Throw Offense

What’s your free throw offense look like?

If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, I have a couple of ideas that you may be interested in checking out.

Just to be clear, I am not talking about a press break after a free throw.

I’m talking about your plan to get a rebound if the free throw is missed. Keep the possession alive for your team.

My teams have had great success using free throw offenses in the past – with our guards. 😳

That’s right, we don’t put our bigs down low when we are shooting free throws, we use our guards.

The main reason for this is because we press and we want our guards in a position to give pressure right away.

I know this isn’t how everyone does it so I’ve set the offense up in the traditional way in the video, but you can always throw your guards down low to see how it works for you.

Check out the video below to see exactly what I’m talking about when it comes to Free Throw Offense.
